On this tour, tailor-made for wine-lovers, you’ll be immersing yourself into the world of Vienna’s best-loved wines. Our journey begins in the centre of Vienna and the only remaining wine garden in the city’s 1st district.

Stop At: Griechenbeisl, Fleischmarkt 11, Vienna 1010 Austria

We will stop here, a traditional Austrian dining establishment and Vienna's oldest restaurant.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Fleischmarkt to Dr. Ignaz Seipel Platz, Vienna Austria

This district of Vienna is home to some attractive Art Nouveau buildings and other noteworthy architecture.

Stop At: Mayer am Nussberg, Kahlenberger Straße ggü. 210, 1190 Wien, Austria

Onwards and upwards (quite literally), we’ll then head into the hills past the ominous yet impressive Karl Marx Hof; Europe's largest social housing building, for our first refreshment and food break.
We will head for a heuriger (wine bar) in the hills, taking in the breathtaking views of Vienna and its surroundings before settling in for another glass of wine and learning exactly what makes a ‘Gemischten Satz’ unique and what a ‘Wienerlied’ is.

This hill located in the 19th District of Vienna offers beautiful views over the city. This is where you’ll also find some of the city’s wineries. We will enjoy a glass of wine in this area.
