So interesting to hear the history of the area and learn about the glaciers. The age range of my family was 9-70 and the guide made it great for all of us! Iceland is so gorgeous! Everyone needs to visit!
Really great experience. Great guide. Everything we expected.
I'm 58 years old and in good shape, but I have arthritis in both knees and am afraid of heights. If I had known how many times I was going to have have to take big steps up or down onto icy surfaces, I might not have done this trip. And there were times we weren't far from a drop off. To be honest, I was anxious for most of it. All that being said, I'm glad I went. It was a once in a lifetime experience. I would not do it, though if you have doubts about your fitness level.
