Located on the stunning Sólheimasandur black beach in South Iceland, the Dakota Plane Wreck has lately become a popular site for locals and tourists alike due to the wild landscape around it and the beautiful pictures that can be taken here. The walk to the plane wreck takes about one hour each way. It is an easy walk but it is important to be prepared for the weather as it is often windy and rainy!
