About this activity

After pickup from your hotel in Vilnius you will head to backcountry southeast from the capital. Just after some 50min. drive you will reach Aukštadvaris nature park with ancient woods, mysterious sinkholes, green lakes and underground water sources, marking the start of some streams and creeks. Experience Lithuanian wilderness on a 2,5 hours hike before heading to Trakai and taking a history walk through the town and around the notorious Island Castle. Learn about Lithuania’s medieval history and unique community of Karaims. And last but not least - have a well deserved coffee and pie break in a traditional restaurant before returning back to Vilnius.

Please dress accordingly to the weather conditions, wear appropriate footwear (sandals or hiking shoes depending on weather conditions would be ideal).
