You’ll have 11 magnificent days to explore the bustling city of Cape Town, listen to the sound of water thundering down the 56m Augrabies Waterfall, view gemsbok, springbok, eland and blue wildebeest where red dunes & shrub fade into infinity and admire the sunset over the Namib Desert. Day 1 Windhoek
Explore Windhoek during the day and meet your group and your Tour Leader in the evening at 18:00 to get acquainted and review your trip details.

Day 2 Windhoek to Sesriem
Sesriem is a small settlement located in the Namib Desert, a natural canyon carved in the sedimentary rock.

Day 3 Sesriem
An early departure will give you the opportunity to climb the majestic Dune 45 during the cooler time of the day. Dune 45 was named for its proximity to Sesriem gate before continuing to the entrance of Sossusvlei.

Day 4 Sesriem to Seeheim
On the way to Seeheim, you will pass the small towns of Bethanien and Helmeringhausen and a farm settlement here and there, but other than that it will mostly just be the wide-open Namibian landscape with spectacular scenery. This rustic oasis in the desert built from stone is where you will be spending your last night under the Namibian starlit sky.

Day 5 Seeheim to Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
Today we will be entering South Africa, heading towards the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. South Africa consists of nine provinces and for the next couple of days, we will be travelling through the Northern Cape Province, the largest province in the country but with the lowest human population.

Day 6 Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
A day for photo opportunities – full day game drives with our Premium Overland Safari Vehicle. This is a land of contrast and unique beauty. Red sand dunes with a backdrop of deep blue sky. Here you find straight-horned Oryx wandering in the waving yellow-gold dune bushman grass. Majestic camel thorn trees on open plains give home and shade to many of the Kalahari’s dwellers. The sparse vegetation and the dry riverbeds show antelope and predators off to spectacular advantage and provide excellent photographic opportunities. Keep cameras ready for the famous black-maned Kalahari lions.

Day 7 Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park to Augrabies National Park
Our next stop is the Augrabies National Park.

Day 8 Augrabies National Park to Strandfontein
Today we head south to the West Coast of South Africa. Strandfontein, a popular tourist attraction with a picturesque shoreline, offers tranquillity and have a pleasant and carefree nature. Watch as Sandpipers, Gulls and Oystercatchers scavenge for food.

Day 9 Strandfontein to Cape Town
Continue to the cosmopolitan city of Cape Town, one of the world’s most picturesque cities.

Day 10 Cape Town
After breakfast, we depart for the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve at the tip of the Cape Peninsula. Rugged rocks and sheer cliffs tower more than 200m above sea level. After lunch, we visit a colony of the endangered African Penguin at Boulders Beach in Simonstown. Here you will be able to come quite close to these upright walking birds while they nest, swim, play and do the things Penguins do every day.
