Stop At: Hua Pagoda of Baoqing Temple, North of Shuyuanmen Door, South Gate Inside, Beilin District, Xi'an 710000 China

This walking tour starts at 2pm at designated meeting point: South Gate Square (Yongning Gate Subway Station exit A1/D1) where you could easily find your guide waiting with City Walk sign. Please be ready and gather at the meeting point 10 minutes in advance.

Starting from the South Gate Square, you will walk in a small group with a local guide. Hear the story of Yongning Gate (eternal peace), view the pagoda in Baoqing Temple, explore Former Residence of Yu Youren, Fuxue Alley, Confucius and Wolong Temples, and visit one of the most famous and oldest schools in China, the Guanzhong College, founded in the Qing Dynasty

Chat with your guide while walking along the street, discover the history of ancient Chinese education system, gain more knowledge of Chinese calligraphy and folk art, be amazed by the stories of ancient education and examination, taste local food and shoot fascinating photos along the way. After approximately 2.5 to 3 hours of walking in the city, say goodbye to your guide and return to your hotel or continue sightseeing on your own.
