Your private guide and driver will pick you up at your Xi’an downtown hotel in the morning at around 8:00am. Then you will get on a comfortable vehicle to visit Mt. Huashan, located in Huayin City of Shaanxi Province, 120 kilometers east of Xian. It is one of the famous Five Holy Mountains in China. Also known as Number One Precipitous Mountain throughout China, it is famous for its natural vista of steep and narrow paths, precipitous crags and a high mountain range. People love it for climbing, natural scenery or photography.

The five peaks of Mt. Huashan are the representative attractions and each has its distinctive charms. The east Peak is the best place to enjoy the sunrise. The South Peak is the highest among the five. The West Peak takes the most elegant look. Mt. Huashan is also home to several important Taoist temples, where many emperors took part in Taoist activities and sacrificed to the god of mountain, making it a holy land of Taoism. If you are daring, make sure you try out the Chang Kong Cliff Road on the mountain. It was built by laying planks on stone nails driven deep into the surface of the steep mountain slopes. The path perches midway on the steep mountain slopes, and iron chains stretch along the road to offer protection to people. Long stone pieces are used to create a narrow road surface while stone pillars are placed underneath to support the plank road. Tourists have to be very careful when taking any step on the road while trying best to stay close to the surface of the mountain side of the plank road. It is dubbed the top barrier in Mt. Huashan.

You will take the cable car at the east gate up to the North Peak, and then hike on the mountain to the other peaks. You are free to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the magnificent peaks, vibrant pines and cypresses etc. At last, take the cable car downhill. Your tour guide will transfer you back to the hotel to conclude the trip.
