Itinerary

Day 1: YANGON – KYAIK HTI YOE (GOLDEN ROCK) – HPA AN

Stop At: Kyaik Hti Yoe Cable Car Base Station, Thaton District, Mar Lar Hpu, Myanmar (Burma)
Your driver and professional English-speaking guide will pick you up at 8:00 am from your hotel in Yangon and drive to Kyaik Hti Yoe by a private modern air-conditioned vehicle. Buffalos, paddy plantation and locals are seen along your way. Arrive at base camp and then climbing with special coach to Golden Rock Temple which is the famous legendary Pagoda on the Golden Rock and is also an attractive one for those who love hiking.

Kyaikhtiyoe is believed that ones will get prosperity and success for their future. On the extreme verge of this sloping rock table, and actually over hanging it by nearly half, is perched this wonderful boulder (now completely gilded with gold), thirty feet high and surrounded by the pagoda. By gently rocking the boulder a thread can be passed underneath; seemly appears as if the additional weight of a few pounds or a strong wind, would send it sliding down from the place it has occupied for unknown centuries watching over three thousand feet into the sloping valley beneath. Crossing through the tropical jungle by a rocky path, listening to the birds’ singing, it is fantastic journey and enjoy wonderful panorama at the top of the mountain.

After visiting around the Pagoda back to the base camp and drive to Hpa An. Overnight at the hotel in Hpa An.

Day 2: HPA AN FULL DAY TOUR

Stop At: Bayin Nyi Caves, Hpa An Myanmar
After breakfast at the hotel, our driver and English speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel. Visit Hpa An market and observe locals and several minority groups wearing traditional costumes trading farm produce such as vegetables, fruits, etc.

Continue to visit Bayin Nyi Cave across jungle and rice-fields. In front of the Cave there is a pool of very hot water from which a steam issues and over this steam is a single-plank bridge. Enjoy the natural view around the Cave. There are a temple complex with a pool and lots of statues of various kinds and colours. Steps lead up the hill to Bayin Nyi Cave and explore lots of brightly colored statues.

Stop At: Kyauk Ka Lat Pagoda, Hpa-An, Hpa An Myanmar
Visit to Kyauk Kalap which is a truly unique pagoda, set on the top of an unusual rock formation in the middle of a lake.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Kawgun Cave, Hpa An Myanmar
Kawgun Cave which is one of the most marvelous destinations in Hpa An. Generally believed, the temple cave was commissioned by a Mon Queen in the 7th century, so it is a sacred site for the ethnic Mon to come here and worship.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Sadan Cave, Hpa An Myanmar
Sadan Cave opens into a gigantic cavern filled with Buddhas and pagodas. The Cave is very huge and you can walk through to the other side, under the mountain. It is truly impressive. At the end you are on a little lake and take a boat and bring you by another cave.

Stop At: Shwe Yin Myaw Pagoda, Thanlwin River, Hpa An Myanmar
Enjoy wonderful sunset at Shweyinhmyaw Pagoda, bank of the Thanlwin (Salween) river. Return back to your hotel in Hpa An.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 3: HPA AN – YANGON

After breakfast at the hotel, leave Hpa An, drive back to Yangon and transfer to your hotel or airport.
