Stop At: Shwedagon Pagoda, Yangon (Rangoon) Myanmar
Free in the morning. Transfer to have lunch. Start to visit Yangon city tour as colonial buildings – City Hall, High Court, General Post Office, Customs House and colonial landmark Strand Hotel while passing religious pagodas and well maintained parks. Then head to visit to the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, the country’s holiest Buddhist shrine that is perhaps the most beautiful pagoda complex in all of Asia. Enjoy the stunning sunset before back to hotel. Overnight in Yangon.

Stop At: Jasmine Family Lacquerware Workshop, U Khin Maung Nyo, Bagan Myanmar
After lunch, visit a lacquerware workshop and enjoy a panoramic scene of glorious Bagan against a stunning back-drop of the sun dropping into the distant hills. Back to hotel. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 5: Bagan - Mandalay (B) – by bus
Stop At: Mandalay Hill, Mandalay Myanmar
Transfer back to Mandalay. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 6: Mandalay - full day (B/L/-)
Stop At: U Bein Bridge, Amarapura Myanmar
After breakfast, drive to the 18th century capital of Amarapura to visit Mahagandayon monastery, where more than a thousand monks and novices live and study the doctrine of Buddha. The nearby, U Bein bridge is the longest teakwood span in the world that is more than two centuries old and at 1.2 km long, built with teakwood pillars salvaged from the deserted Inwa Palace.

Stop At: Nanmyin Watch Tower, Amarapura Myanmar
In the afternoon, after lunch, Drive out of Mandalay and then take the local ferry to visit Inwa (also known as Ava), the historically important former royal capital, located on an island between the Ayeyarwady and the Myitnge Rivers. Upon arrival at Innwa jetty, transfer by small boat to Innwa and ride a pony cart down tree-lined paths to see the remains of this ancient city. Pass through the ancient city walls to visit a brick and stucco monastery called Maha Aungmye Bonzan (also known as Ok Kyaung) and see Nanmyin Watch Tower and the impressive wooden monastery of Bagaya Kyaung. End the day with a visit to Mandalay Hill, which is home to many religious sites including the Su Taung Pyi Temple atop and enjoy the magnificent views from the 230m high summit. Return to your hotel. Overnight in Mandalay.
