Stop At: Shwemawdaw Paya, Bago Myanmar
Pick-up in the morning from your hotel for the drive to BAGO (84 km – 1½h) was founded in the year 825 by two Mon princes. The town, a former ancient port and capital, is situated about 84 km (approximately 2 hours driving time) from Yangon.
Sightseeing in Bago starts with a visit to KYAKHTWINE monastery, over thousands of monk living on its premises and studying the Buddha’s literature
The tour continues then to the over a thousand years old Shwemawdaw Pagoda with its spire. And continue sightseeing to the enormous 55-meter long reclining Shwe Tha Lyaung Buddha, which is among one of the country's most impressive images.

Visit Kyaik Pun Pagoda with30 meter high of four giant Buddha images, outside of Bago city.
And on heading back to Yangon, en route visit an Allied War Graves cemetery near Htauk Kyan
It houses the graves of more than 27,000 allied soldiers. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission administers this beautifully landscaped cemetery. This is a tour that gives insight into the history and culture of this region. Return to Yangon and transfer to your hotel.
