Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Yangon and trip to Golden Rock
Stop At: Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, Mar Lar Hpu, Myanmar (Burma)
Upon arrival to the Yangon international airport, you will be welcomed by our Thai speaking guide and drive (194 km - 5 hours) to the Kyaiktiyo (Golden Rock). Upon arrival at the Kin Pun 'base camp' at the foot of the hills, to change our mode of transport to an open truck. The ride is shared with local pilgrimage makers to the Golden Rock on top of the mountain range.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant en-route.
Please note that the journey is made in open trucks, which are very crowded and uncomfortable (be aware of this before you decide to join this tour).
And then reach to one of Myanmar's landmarks, famous for its precarious position and religious importance, Kyaiktiyo the 'Golden Rock' is a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. Enjoy impressive views over the surrounding jungle and a beautiful sunset. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Kyaikhtiyo – Bago – Yangon
Stop At: Bago, Bago, Bago Region
Breakfast will be served at the hotel.
In the morning drive back to Bago (110 km – 3½h) was founded in the year 825 by two Mon princes, a former ancient port and capital. Visit over a thousand years old Shwemawdaw Pagoda with its spire, and repaired after an earthquake in the 1930’s. And visit enormous 55-meter long reclining Shwe Tha Lyaung Buddha, which is among one of the country's most impressive images. And visit Kanbawzathardi Golden Palace.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant en-route. And then heading back to Yangon.
Proceed then to the enormous 65 meters long Reclining Buddha image at Chauk Htat Gyi.
Complete the day with an extended visit to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments, one of the wonders of the world the Shwedagon Pagoda. Dinner will be served at local restaurant.

Day 3: Excursion to Syriam (Thanlyin) & Yangon sightseeing
Stop At: Thanlyin, Myanmar (Burma)
Breakfast will be served at the hotel.
In the morning, drive to sleepy Thanlyin (Syriam) across Yangon river, around 15 kms from Yangon, which was once a major port ancient time.
Visit Portuguese settlement sites with old brick buildings and church in down town and continue to visit Kyeik Khauk Pagoda, matches its famous cousins in architecture and atmosphere. And proceed Kyauk Tan Ye Le Pagoda (middle stream), set on a tiny island in the river and take a small boat to visit. Stroll through the riverside market and drive back to Yangon.
Visit Botataung Pagoda located on the banks of the river in downtown Yangon is one of the city’s most highly revered temples. The 40 meter high golden pagoda enshrines a sacred hair relic of the Buddha. And visit golden Sule Pagoda built over 2,000 years ago. And see the impressive city hall of Yangon from green Mahabandola Park (Former Fythch Square).
And continue walk to see famous for some of Yangon's most impressive colonial buildings.
In the afternoon visit Kaba Aye Pagoda (Word Peace Pagoda) and Maha Pasana Guha Cave where the sixth Buddhist synod took place.
Visit through the Bogyoke (Scott’s) Market (closed on Mondays and public holidays) where hundreds of gemstone, clothes, handicrafts, arts, clothes and food stores are busy day with colorful.

In the morning Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda, on top of Mindhama Hill near Yangon airport is known for its enormous Buddha image made out of a single piece of white marble.
Transfer to the airport for departure flight from Myanmar.
