And then you will be transfer to visit While Scott’s Market, Indian Market, Vegetable & Fruit Market and you will have a chance to Experience the locals bargaining and trading their products in sometimes hectic atmosphere. After that you will visit Bothataung Pagoda located on the river side and stroll along Yangon River to watch the many boats loading and unloading.

The WHILE SCOTT’S MARKET:
First of all, this market is officially called "Bogyoke Market" after General Aung San the father of Burma's independence. 'Bogyoke' is the Burmese term for General. However, it is still known as Scott Market even after all these years. The place is supposed to be named after J.G. Scott, an administrator during the British rule of Burma.
This market is ideal for the travelers who want to look for souvenirs, gifts or knick knacks to remind you of your memorable visit to Myanmar, or even just to browse around. Be sure to practice your bargaining skills beforehand, as the shopkeepers do expect you to negotiate the prices. Say, "Shaw bar ohn" which means 'please lower the price' and this will definitely bring a smile on his/her face!
BOTAHTAUNG PAGODA
The Botahtaung Pagoda is located on the Botahtaung Paya Road. which was named after the Pagoda. It is situated way downtown beside the Yangon River. The Pagoda overlooked the pleasant water front of the river.
The Botataung Pagoda was named after the thousand military leaders who escorted relics of the Buddha brought from India over two thousand years ago. The meaning of Bo is "leader" and tahtaung is "a thousand". It was built almost in the same time as Sule Pagoda and Shwedagon Pagoda over. 2500 years ago. The name of the pagoda was originally Kyaik-de-att. which was a Mon name. or Sandaw Shin as it is enshrined with the sacred hair of the Lord Buddha.
