Wayang Kulit (Shadow/Leather Puppet) is one of the traditional Javanese arts that is still maintained until now. Wayang Kulit is made of cowhide which has been processed into sheet shapes. This skin is then carved very carefully using pointed steel to form body parts. These parts will then be compiled and incorporated into puppet characters. To go through this process, you will be guided by an experienced craftsman who will make you feel the complexity of the process of making leather puppets. The process is complicated but will be comparable to very beautiful results and will be an unforgettable moment.
