Sankeien Garden Audio Guide Tour

Sankeien Garden was designed 100 years ago by Sankei Hara, a businessman who was also a collector of old artworks.

Sankeien Garden is home to a group of different styles of buildings, including Buddhist temples and tea-ceremony houses that were removed from their original sites and reconstructed in this garden. While they still speak of history and their pasts, these buildings have been relocated to a new place. The act of doing so turns Sankeien itself into an artwork.
