Day 1: Zagreb

Stop At: Ban Josip Jelacic Monument, Ban Josip Jelacic Square, Zagreb Croatia
Welcome to Croatia´s capital. On the first day, we will pick you up at the airport or if you are already here, the adventure can start! We will explore all the attractions of the city and in the evening go for a welcome dinner.

Day 2: Zagreb - Bled - Ljubljana

Stop At: Bled Castle (Blejski Grad), Lake Bled, Bled 4260 Slovenia
After breakfast we are going to Slovenia. First we will visit lake Bled, famous for its medieval castle situated on a cliff high above the lake and the amazing surrounding Alpine peaks.

Stop At: Ljubljana Old Town, Ljubljana Slovenia
Our next stop is the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana where we will spend the night.

Day 3: Ljubljana - Rovinj - Motovun - Opatija

Stop At: Port of Rovinj, Rovinj Croatia
We are back to Croatia to visit the beautiful town of Rovinj, situated on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Hilltop Walled Ancient City of Motovun, Motovun Croatia
On the way, we will stop in a famous Istrian medival town Motovun, a fortified town located atop a 277-meter high hill.
Duration: 1 hour

Last stop for today is Opatija where we will spend the night.

Day 4: Opatija - Plitvice Lakes - Zadar

Stop At: Plitvicka jezera, Plitvice Lakes National Park 53231 Croatia
Today we will explore the most popular national park in Croatia, Plitvice Lakes! On a 4 hour tour where will have a boat and train ride we will walk around hundreds of waterfalls.

In the late afternoon we will arrive in Zadar where we will spend the night.

Day 5: Zadar - Trogir - Split

Stop At: Historic City of Trogir, Trogir Croatia
After breakfast we will take a very scenic drive on the Dalmatian coast where are first stop will be Trogir where your guide will take you on a walk through its narrow streets and rich history. We will visit St. Lawrence Cathedral, Radovan’s portal (the most significant medieval portal on this part of Europe), Palace of Cipico, Tower of Kamerlengo and many more.

We are heading to Split to check in to the accommodation.

Day 6: Split - Mostar - Dubrovnik

Stop At: Old Bridge Area of the Old City of Mostar, Mostar Bosnia and Herzegovina
After breakfast, we are heading to Bosnia and Hercegovina where we will visit the famous city Mostar. The city of contrasts, where “the east and west meet”.

Stop At: Old Town, Dubrovnik Croatia
In the afternoon we are on our way to Dubrovnik where we will spend the night.

Day 7: Dubrovnik - Montenegro - Dubrovnik

Stop At: Kotor Old City, Stari grad, Kotor, Kotor Municipality 85330 Montenegro
In the morning we are going to Montenegro. First we will visit Kotor, a small and picturesque town on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast, in a deep bay, at the foot of the limestone cliffs of Mt. Lovćen.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Budva City Walls, Old Town, Budva, Budva Municipality 85310 Montenegro
We will be going to Budva, a wonderful town on the Adriatic, a part of the Budva Riviera, famous for its sandy beaches. In the evening we are back in Dubrovnik.

Day 8: Dubrovnik - departure

We were so pleased with this tour. We really did not know what to expect, but our guide Neven went above and beyond for us. He waited for a long time to pick us up at the airport since our flight was delayed. When we got into the car, he had already bought us waters and Bajadera chocolates which were delicious! He told us stories about the chocolates and always had information or stories along the tour. Neven was very upfront and honest with us, which made it very easy to coordinate meeting times and have a relaxed journey. You could tell that he cared about making sure we had a good experience, in whatever way we felt most comfortable with. There were times along the trip where traffic was very busy, or we had to drive on narrow and winding roads. I can honestly say our guide is the best driver I have ever met in my life. I am usually not able to sleep in cars, but I was so at ease that I took a lot of good naps! The destinations along this tour were all very beautiful. I think we enjoyed Ljubljana, Motovun, Trogir, Plitvice, Zadar, Dubrovnik, and the cities in Montenegro the most. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and we were there just shy of the busy tourist season July - August. We always visited the old parts of town, and Neven gave us time to roam whenever possible. We chose the option where our hotels were booked for us, and that worked out well. There was one time when they had the room wrong, but Neven worked with our tour company to book another room very quickly. The breakfasts and overall food was great! One of my favorite examples where Neven really treated us was when he went to pick up some things while we were sitting by the Adriatic. He surprised us with beers! And knowing that we had different preferences, he picked out just the right ones : I am giving the tour 4 stars because although it was very good, we maybe tried to do too much. The history in Mostar was fascinating, but it was difficult to walk there so maybe more time in Dubrovnik would be better. Overall the company and our guide were great!
