About this activity
You will be picked-up at your hotel at 9am and driven towards the Lika region. Your first break will be in picturesque watermill village Rastoke situated at the confluence of Slunjčica and Korana rivers. Observe and enjoy the peculiar rural architecture. After a short stroll and a coffee break, continue to Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Plitvice Lakes are the Croatia’s oldest and most visited national park, enlisted as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1979. One of the biggest gems of our country is a must see while spending time in Croatia. Your guide will chose a route suitable for you and make sure you do not miss the highlights of the park. Through centuries water was carving lakes and forming waterfalls resulting with creation of 16 crystal clear lakes. Enjoy outstanding natural beauty of the forest landscape and clear water of the lakes interconnected by a series of waterfalls. Board an electric boat across the Kozjak lake and don’t miss to learn more about karst phenomenon and rich animal life of the site. Become one with nature, enjoy the clean pure air and get lost in the breathtaking views that surround you.
After you conquer the park, you will stop for a traditional 3 course lunch in a local restaurant and feast on delicacies of this region. Departure to Zagreb and return to your hotel at approximately 6pm
