About this activity
Day 1: Zurich – Lucerne – Mt Pilatus (L, D)
In the morning on your first day, leave central Zurich by comfortable coach for a scenic journey to the lakeside city of Lucerne. On the bus, enjoy a guided orientation tour of the city’s highlights and stop at attractions like the Old Town, from where you can walk to Chapel Bridge. After enjoying some time at your leisure, continue to Kriens and board a gondola to the top of Mt Pilatus to admire the panoramic views. Venture down Dragon's Path before checking in to your 3-star mountain-top hotel. You'll be welcomed with a complimentary beverage before enjoying a 3-course dinner while taking in breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Spend the night cradled in the Swiss mountains at 7,000 feet (2,132 meters) -- a truly unique experience!
Overnight: 3-star hotel at the summit of Mt Pilatus
Day 2: Mt Pilatus – Mt Titlis – Lucerne – Zurich (B)
The next morning, enjoy a scrumptious buffet breakfast before descending Mt Pilatus by aerial gondola car. Meet your guide in Central Lucerne and head to Mt Titlis for your eternal-snow-and-ice adventure! Enjoy a comfortable coach ride to Engelberg, where the breathtaking journey up Mt Titlis begins. Take a revolfving Rotair cable-car ride up the mountain and enjoy spectacular views of the glacier's deep crevasses and gigantic ice boulders. And now that the new gondola system has been implemented, you will spend more time on top of Mount Titlis as the new ride takes you up in a shorter time!
At the top of Mt Titlis, enjoy lunch (own expense) at the restaurant and enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the Alps from the sun terrace.
Visit the Ice Grotto and enjoy the unique opportunity to walk through a glacier! Then, take a ride on the IceFlyer and get an exclusive up-close view of the glacier’s crevasses before walking over Europe's highest suspension bridge!
After this exciting Swiss winter experience, conclude your 2-day adventure with a scenic drive back to Zurich.

A bit disorganized. Did not take us to the places but only told how to meet them where. Not what I expected for a tour.
The sites on this tour were fantastic and we would highly recommend them to others. The tour itself, meanwhile, was merely satisfactory. By trying to accommodate many groups with different itineraries, the tour created logistical challenges that detracted from our experience. Most notably, we were told to descend Mt. Pilatus and take a public bus to Lucerne to meet back up with our tour group at a certain time. We later found out that the bus would later go back to Pilatus to drop other guests off. Ultimately, we lost over two hours for no real reason that we could have used to enjoy the mountains. In conclusion, we definitely appreciated having transportation and tickets pre-purchased for us, but if we did the tour again, we think we could have gotten more out of the experience on our own.
