This guided walking tour starts on Fridays and Saturdays at Zurich Hauptbahnhof. In a small group you can explore the two cities of Zurich and Glarus.
The walking tours are led by experienced and professional guides. In addition, can be prepared with the involvement of the thematic Glarner Landsgemeinde a real respect for direct democracy and a vibrant tradition of Switzerland. In Glarus we enjoy a typical and regional Lunch (3 courses). The transports are based on the public transports (tickets are not included).
A large part of the Glarus Region is a UNESCO World Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona. The Glarnerland also surprised with an unexpectedly rich cultural diversity, as the incumbent Kunsthaus Glarus for temporary art and a rich history with characters such as "the last witch", Anna Göldi, and the pioneer of the gay movement, Heinrich Hössli. The Linth meanders from Linthal up in Lake Zurich, from which it continues to flow as Limmat in Zurich. This natural compound is also a cultural connection between Zurich and Glarus. The railway line runs along the entire southern shore of Lake Zurich and Obernsees overlooking the eastern Swiss and Glarner Alps.
